ആശങ്കകൾക്കു വിരാമമിട്ട് മലമ്പുഴയിലെ ചെറാട് മലയിൽ കുടുങ്ങിയ ബാബുവിനെ സുരക്ഷിത സ്ഥാനത്ത് എത്തിക്കാൻ സാധിച്ചു. ആരോഗ്യം വീണ്ടെടുക്കാൻ ആവശ്യമായ ചികിത്സയും പരിചരണവും നൽകും. രക്ഷാപ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾക്ക് നേതൃത്വം നൽകിയത് ഇന്ത്യൻ സേനയുടെ മദ്രാസ് റെജിമെൻ്റിലെ സൈനികർ, പാരാ റെജിമെന്‍റ് സെന്‍ററിലെ സൈനികർ എന്നിവരാണ്.
